What kinda content do I make?
I used to focus on Let's Play videos, but after doing the same thing for years I lost inspiration for it and content creation in general. After an almost 6-year hiatus, I feel energized and ready to make content again, but in a new way.
I have loved watching video essays about games, focusing on the qualitative experience and what the game means to that creator. Making videos like that will help me enjoy the process of playing the game whilst crafting a narrative around my experience with them. They might act as a sort of review, but going into more technical breakdowns is def not my thing.
What kinda games do I like to play?
I love a range of games! I've always been a Nintendo and indie game fan. I used to be more into FPS but I don't play too much of that anymore (I broke up with Call of Duty years ago), but I have been loving Deadlock even though I'm not great at it.
So many games nowadays are chasing hyper-realistic graphics and a lot of them look the same to me… boring! For me it's less about genre and more about intriguing, distinct art styles and interesting/fun gameplay mechanics. Looking at the articles I write will give you a good idea of what interests me.
